Morning campers!
Little cloudy in darkest Surrey, will pop on the motorbike to the farm shop to buy some steak, sausages, fresh asparagus and assorted veg.
Then back to do accounts and it's the weekend for me!If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Have found a hotel that looks good for a holiday, just need to book it.
Will probably spend next week planning my month off, planning to buy some gagdets for the kitchen aid
and also a meat slicer and a vacuum pack, maybe a sous vide cooker
Though if the house offer is accepted, I might end up trying to get the sale through ASAP, so we can start sorting the house out before we move in.Comment

Will there be a trip to the UK in that month? Maybe a Northern based one so you can visit the Northern Grub clubOriginally posted by norrahe View PostHave found a hotel that looks good for a holiday, just need to book it.

Benched earlier this year, finished off some direct work and currently working on a proposal for direct work for this year. Problem is, the process is taking sooooo long (large corporation) I can't just leave for hols so currently in limbo, unable to plan anything and feel like I'm in a holding pattern. I feel very unsettled and frustrated to be honest.Originally posted by SimonMac View PostAre you benched at the moment then? You looking or enjoying the time off
Once (if!!) it's signed then I can jet off for a month or two. If it doesn't get signed then it's goodbye to any hols this year and straight back onto the contract market. If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment

Oooh, that sounds excellent. I would love to have one of those. Do you think these would be used regularly enough to justify the expense?Originally posted by norrahe View Post...a vacuum pack, maybe a sous vide cooker...If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment
