          Possibly several.

You may as well get the clutch done at the same time.

          That's about another £100 - £200 for the parts.

I've seen a watch that mrs 5* can wrap up for me. I will however have to go and buy it myself...

                Indeed.

£1700 for a reconditioned one. £2000 for a reconditioned one with genuine VW parts.

That includes the clutch and the fitting, though, and I'd guessed at about £1500, so not too far off.

We have a limit of £10 each to spend for Christmas. Which will probably get to £15 when I go over budget.

We don't do anniversary presents, Valentines or birthdays (apart from something small from the children).

Anyone with money can spend money, but try and find something meaningful for a strict budget and it's much harder.

This year, because we have always had a long-distance relationship, I've bought here this.

And had the middle panel customised to say "love" instead.

I'm a real softie at heart.

We don't do anniversary presents - mainly as we are away on holiday.

For b'day I usually get stuff off the kids.

This year wifey got some new running stuff.
