£1700 for a reconditioned one. £2000 for a reconditioned one with genuine VW parts.

That includes the clutch and the fitting, though, and I'd guessed at about £1500, so not too far off.

I've just shelled out 2.5k on a new front bumper courtesy of Mr N pranging the car.

Woo hoo - we're up to 8 million records and stopped growing!!

Probably because of the 121 million records of debug which were written to the database until the DBA actually responded to my instruction to kill the sessions.

I deregistered from VAT a while back - however I have reregistered and got a new VAT number and the VAT helpline also said I would be entitled to the 1% discount for my first year - so only 13.5% to pay for October

I was permie for 16 months. I think I reregistered back easily May '09 I think.
