£1700 for a reconditioned one. £2000 for a reconditioned one with genuine VW parts.

That includes the clutch and the fitting, though, and I'd guessed at about £1500, so not too far off.
I've just shelled out 2.5k on a new front bumper courtesy of Mr N pranging the car.

We better get it back via insurance or I will be well unhappy.

It's been a hell of an expensive few months with the move and everything.

          That's how

I've bought a few pictures from him before - I know that MrsF likes his work. Year before last, it was a series of little postcards which were his variations on monsters from Where The Wild Things Are, and on the thank-you for buying card, there was a quick pen sketch of Max as well.

Woo hoo - we're up to 8 million records and stopped growing!!

Probably because of the 121 million records of debug which were written to the database until the DBA actually responded to my instruction to kill the sessions.

I deregistered from VAT a while back - however I have reregistered and got a new VAT number and the VAT helpline also said I would be entitled to the 1% discount for my first year - so only 13.5% to pay for October

Must be over a year to get back into FRS, surely?
