                      But not all of us subscribe to the idea that drunkenness is a bad thing.

                      I remember seeing a TV programme about monkeys in the Caribbean. They can't make alcohol but they have learned to steal drinks from people.

                      The proportion of monkeys that are teetotal, those that drink moderately and those that get completely tulip faced matches the proportion of humans that behave the same.

                      Except in the monkey community, the heaviest drinkers are most highly respected as leaders.
