If you don't want to use Mac OS X, install Windows or Linux on it instead.
Or have all three.
Or use Parallels Desktop and have as many virtual machines running as many different OSs as you like.
Or have a Mac partition and a Windows partition, boot into the Windows partition if you want to, and still be able to use that partition as a virtual machine when you boot into OS X.
Or anything you like, really.
The point is, if you buy a bog-standard lapop (even from a good manufacturer) you're limiting your options. Why not have all the options, together with the knowledge that your hardware is rock solid and perfectly integrated - you never have to worry about a device driver update again.
