Went to the pub with the other developers last night - not something I usually do, as they always go to such dreadful pubs.

My manager was chatting to me and asked if I had enough work to keep me busy until I leave. I told him I probably did.

He then said "Well, it doesn't matter if you haven't; as far as I'm concerned you can just sit around and do whatever, if you like."

(He's still cross with senior management for not letting him renew my contract )
