Morning all
Cloudy but bright. Some damp on the ground. Currently 10 degrees with a high of 12 expected. Cloud will increase to give a dull and potentially damp afternoon. Barometer up a bit to 1008 mBar.
Sunrise 08:05; Sunset 15:55 GMT
One whole minute more daylight than yesterday!
Working up to Christmas Eve. Undecided if I'll do a full or half day on CE.
I have to pop up to Waitrose for a few bits to take down to Mum's as I'm cooking Christmas Day lunch/dinner. But I'm not deranged enough to consider doing that on the 24th. And I have to go up to my storage unit to find a nice cake tin which is very close to Waitrose so I feel some form of coordinated effort might be helpful.

Lunch: leftover pork cutlet in a wholemeal bap with apple sauce
Still feeling quite under the weather, but I don’t think it’s getting worse, or not much

As I’m not going out while feeling like this, I’ve put a towel wash on instead to help pass the time

Jusr remembered to pop up to the village shop in time to get some nibbles for tonight's little street party. Posted few cards to neighbours on the way.bloggoth

I have not left the house today. This means I have to go out tomorrow. However, I've decided Sainsbury's around the corner will be sufficient rather than Waitrose. That doesn't negate the need to go to the storage unit.Comment

Tea: KFC leftovers
Not that I have much of an appetite at the moment TBH
The towels are done and dried. I split them into two batches for drying, and each batch was done in 45 minutes or so, which is considerably better than the old one managed

Little street party was ok but nowhere near as many as usually turned up.
Got my canvas based alternative to the, soon to be discontinued, Bing Maps API mostly working now. Not the same fluidity with scrolling as just 4 tiles on the screen, and only covers local area as my PC can't accomodate maps for the entire world, but can do most things I want.bloggoth
