        Morning denizens

Sunny out with high wispy cloud, and a breeze giving the trees a bit of a shimmy now and again. Mild again at 14°C with 18° due later, and the barometers are heading down again at 1014/1022mB

          Morning all

Sunny, dry. High level wispy bits here and there. Currently 15 degrees with a high of 21 expected. Barometer down a bit to 1025 mBar.

Just having a cuppa before heading off to visit Mum. Leaving a bit earlier than usual as I want to stop by the big Sainsbury's near her place - Fever Tree tonic is on offer at £1.70 a bottle and the store near me has been wiped out by other gin drinkers in the area.

Home again after the trip south. As expected, not everything would fit into a Corolla in one trip, so various other articles have been stored temporarily in the conservatory

My brother-in-law was there to help me with loading, which was handy as my back is complaining a bit at the moment. But I had to get them out myself at the storage place on the way home. The only one that was at all problematic was a blanket chest, which is very solidly built and a lot heavier than I'd realised

Anyway, today's load is stored for now, except for a fairly large rug which I brought back here

Really good drive down to Sussex. Normal sort of drive back.

A very sub-optimal parking space secured, which means I'll be keeping a close eye out for a new one to move into over the next few days.

A brief rain shower has occurred. And a check of the weather app shows that further rain is expected off and on all evening.

Tea has been the leftover pork cutlet from the other night, with chips and beans

Driving down and back, and shifting stuff, I felt OK and thought I must be over the lurgy. Then around five, an overwhelming tiredness hit me like a ton of bricks, with occasional bouts of lightheadedness thrown in for good measure. So I should probably take this as a warning not to overexert myself for a few more days

Lots of Monkey Life this morning, including the arrival of Oshine from South Africa who immediately set about undoing the bolts in the orangutan nursery

And after the journey south, I was back in time for some of the US borders and NZ policing stuff.

Later, another new Saving Lives in Cardiff, and an old 24 Hours in A&E

And I read a bit more of To Catch a Spy in which the British government has lost massively in the Australian courts

                    Goodnight all

Overcast but dry and quite mild.
