Got greyer here for a while, but once the sun had moved round far enough to shine in my eyes while I'm supposed to be working, it cleared up a bit

Lunch was a roast beef bap (wholemeal) and a bag of crisps

          Morning denizens

Sunny start for a change. The open skies are letting the warmth out though: 7°C now, and not getting any better than 10° later. The barometers are up again at 1001/1009mB, and it's expected to be quite windy

Morning all, CBS, calm air, lovely views watching the sun rise as we were out walking.

                  Morning all

Sunny out. Damp from overnight rain. Currently 10 degrees ('feels like' 8) with a high of 22 expected. Barometer up to 1015 mBar.

Last night there was a power cut, which necessitated the changing of a fuse at a local substation. As a precautionary measure, I reduced the amount of ice in the freezer by having a large G&T.

This morning I am being experimented on as I'm taking part in a flu vaccine trial. Will see how much my arm hurts afterwards.

Scotch broth and a crust of wholemeal for lunch

It continues to be rather Simpsonesque out, but the conifers are getting a definite shimmy on from the breeze

Lunch was a tuna mayo and salad baguette from Paul. They offered to toast it for me. What kind of monster would toast tuna mayonnaise?
