We had a long(ish) meeting to go through ALL THE TICKETS because this thing has been rumbling along for months with people coming and going and the board was in a state of utter confusion. But it was worth it, even on a Friday afternoon, because we now have it sorted so we can actually see what we're supposed to be doing.

Lunch ended up being some Baxters soup. Red pepper and summat. It was ok, filled a gap.

Now I'm onto cocktail no.2 while pondering what to have for dinner. I have things I've defrosted but I'm not in the mood for those.

Tea: Pukka steak & kidney pie with chips, peas and gravy. Very nice

The car was a Jaguar XK8, which failed its MOT in 2014 and has apparently vanished without trace as its tax status is unknown. It was given away as a competition prize, so I suppose running ti for a year or two then being unable to afford to fix it properly and scrapping it instead is one possible outcome

And the gold diggers was the one where some of the ones with detectors find a buried bottle containing about AUS$15,000 worth of gold, either lost or hidden by an unknown prospector maybe a century before

I ended up ordering a pizza for dinner. It's was nice enough but I quickly tired of it and saved the rest for lunch tomorrow.
