The adverts I detest are the scumbag gambling ones, in particular the 888 sponsor thing on Blaze with that black idiot showing his tonsils.
Thankfully they've change it a bit so that particular irritation has gone.
I much prefer watching Blaze earlier in the day with the Duckduckgo sponsor instead.
Meanwhile back on 8th March 2019 WTFH had found some bottles of wine he'd forgotten he had, while NF had a drugs review with the quack.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 27 November 2022, 12:52.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Tea has been a nice fry-up
Accompanied, naturally, by Time Team in which they're investigating assorted Bronze Age things in the FensComment

A cocktail bar we wanted to try for an early evening drink was inconsistent across multiple sources as to its opening hours today. After twice happening upon it closed at times it was supposed to be open we have given up and gone back to the hotel a bit earlier than planned.
HWMBO has found a gin bar moments away from our dinner location so hopefully that one knows what time it's supposed to be open and we'll have a nice pre-prandial beverage there.Comment

Tonight's viewing has been parts one and two (of three) of Berlin 1945 which is basically photo and film montages with the words of people at the time, mainly from ordinary people's diaries and letters.
Early night now, as the solicitor will apparently phone me first thing tomorrow morning to get my approval for moving ahead with the flat purchase
Goodnight allComment

Morning all
The sun is not yet ris - 0810 apparently. Cloudy, a bit damp but no active precipitation and low chance of it in the forecast. Currently 7 degrees with a high of 8 expected.
The gin bar last night was excellent. Dinner was delicious with superb service too.
Now trying to summon the energy to get dressed and go to work.Comment
