As an experiment, I opened the curtains in the living room and within an hour, the temperature had gone up from 27.9°C to 28.4°. This was at the same time that the outside temperature went from 36° to 37°. So I closed the curtains again and although outside is still on 37°, inside has dropped back to 28.2° over the subsequent hourComment

Ocado was 45 mins late and delivered hardly anything because the chiller section of the van failed. Sadly, due to the way stuff was packed, a lot of things that didn't need to be in the chiller section (bread, sugar, tonic water, crumpets) were undelivered. I completely understand that it's easier to decide everything that was in the chiller should be returned to the warehouse but it's wasteful when the way items are packed mean perfectly safe cupboard items are included in that decision. I shall offer feedback to Ocado about better packing protocols...
