It started raining here at lunchtime, and continues to do so. Proper rain too, not the showers that were spoken of

Apparently there's Saharan sand doing the rounds. Certainly could see rivers of yellow dust on my soggy walk to the dentist and back.

Ooh, that was a pali and I never even noticed, such was the pressure of rushing from one meeting to another (i.e. closing the Teams video window and clicking a different calendar link to open it again)!

Same old nonsense on the telly this evening: the car people with some thing I don't think I've ever heard of (though they managed to make it look considerably worse and lost loads of money on it), the gold people, and the antiques fella; and a bit of the warship thing during tea, being the last twenty minutes of it that I hadn't watched yet.

Then S1E10 of Only Murders in the Building: Open and Shut (TV Episode 2021), being the final episode. This ended things in suitably dramatic, even melodramatic, style, and set it up neatly for a second series, which I believe is in the pipeline now

Finally, the Air Crash Investigation into United Express Flight 5925 which made it safely down on to the runway, only to meet a plane trying to take off on a crossing runway. Quite a gnarly one this, given that everybody on board 5925 survived without serious injury, but it then proved impossible to open the door and they were all killed by smoke from the resulting fire

The rain has finally stopped, but I'm not going for a walk at this time
