As there's still no new Trucking Hell, I'm watching S5 of The Curse of Oak Island.
In episode 3 they found a coin before receiving a letter telling them they were no longer allowed to do metal detecting without a permit. Much grumpiness ensued before getting some permits sorted out.

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.
Tonight's first motion picture premiere (not major) wasAssault on Wall Street (2013) though IMDb thinks it's called Bailout: The Age of Greed. I assume the title got changed once bailouts dropped out of the news. Anyway, it's not as exciting or interesting as either of its titles; fairly mediocre, though the twist ending is good if you make it that far
After that, a major mpp: Man of Steel (2013), a gritty kitchen sink drama set in Sheffield in the 1960s a Superman origin story. I thought it was very good, if somewhat unrealistic; anybody who's been there knows that the planet Krypton isn't anything like that
Managed to go to bed before NF so normality is resumed.
Morning.
Dry.
Grey.
White sky.
Sunless.
20.7 deg in here.

Saturday.
Could have done with the electric blanket in bed last night, feet were freezing.
Lunch: Heinz tomato soup with a hint of chilli, plus some rather blue toasted Morrisons wholemeal sunflower & spelt (the last I had, the birdies got the crust), toasting reduced the blueness a bit, a red corner yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Entertainment: "Alien files unsealed" on Blaze: more and nonsense: this one's about NASA concealing stuff about the moon landings.
They haven't mentioned the London bus or the 747 yet though.
"13 channels of tulip on the tv to choose from" as someone sang oh so long ago.
In other news, it's drizzling.
Tea: spag with fiery bol, peach slices, a yog, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
The "aliens files unsealed" is still ongoing.
We're on to portals now.
"Majestic 12" has had its mention too.
Ah, now we're on to The Face on Mars and the Pyramids of Mars.
I watched another documentary about that the other week, I think it was called "Quatermass & the Pit".
Oh good, the Nazis have just turned up.
Apparently they had their very own Roswell incident at Freiburg in 1936, thus explaining the V2.
I'm expecting The Bell to make an appearance shortly.
And with that: it appears.
Bit of a thing on PBS about Hans Kamler.
Freecell score: 100%, running average 84% (84.11%).
