Big Meeting has ended. It was actually quite productive, I suppose, and I managed to get in right at the end with a question that everybody thought was really important and insightful, luckily without realising that as it's so important I should really have asked it three weeks ago
Most importantly, the information the managers wanted to glean from the meeting is what they need to convince the stakeholders to give us more time; and that means more extension for me if we get itComment

Oh, and the Amazon delivery driver made it here about three minutes before the meeting started, so I now have a fancy new air fryer waiting to be unpackedComment

A recycling bin has been captured and reverse-trundled
It's now about a third full, as I hadn't taken my recycling out in a few weeks
And I've just found out my hot water has stopped workingComment

Just heard from the landlord. He talked me through trying to relight the pilot light, but it didn't work so he's got on to the gas chap (the one who comes every year, and who installed my cooker) who can't make it until Monday afternoon. So it looks like I'll be washing myself in the kettle until then
It is a right faff when things like that go. Hope it's a quick fix on Monday!Comment
