Tonight is the "Great Conjunction" where Jupiter and Saturn will nearly overlap in the sky and, as usual when there's an interesting astronomical thing going on, it's thick cloud here. Bah!bloggoth
If everything isn't black and white, I say, 'Why the hell not?'

Maybe. I note in that Google thing the planets are not social distancing.
PS Maybe I'll just go the local Satanist summer solstice rituals.bloggoth

Lunch appropriate for a grey, damp day: zingy chicken, tomato and lentil soup with wholemeal bread
And just as I was about to sit down to guzzle it I spotted the DHL guy coming through the front gate with my M&S fruit basket. Which was a bit of a pain, as I had to go down to get it from him, then bring it in and get it out of the box to check it was OK, then go and wash my hands because I'd been out of the flat and in contact with the outside world; and by the time all that was done, I had to cart the soup back to the microwave to warm it up a bit
There's a pineapple, among other things, so it looks like I'll be making both sweet and sour pork and some form of gammon in the near futureComment

Lunch is going to be the last of my Waitrose chunky breaded haddock fishfingers in a wrap. The two local stores don't stock them so, unless I happen upon a delivery slot, I don't know when I'll have them again.
Sad times.Comment
