    HWMBO has arrived home.

I had crunchy nut cornflakes for pudding (milk exp 7 Oct but perfectly fine).

Stacked up some Ocado delivery slots for the next few weeks.

Tonight's viewing was Hacksaw Ridge (2016), as it ceases to be "Included with Prime" in a couple of days. Excellent film, though the battle scenes on Okinawa are horrific. Second film I've watched this weekend that heavily featured rats chewing on mangled corpses

Amazon have a section on their site listing films that are soon to leave Prime, but it's a bit of a pain to go through as it's (currently) twelve pages with sixteen items per page. I might write a scraper, running on AWS Lambda, to whiz through them and generate an RSS feed once a day, which can then be served from S3; it'd be handy for checking I'm not about to miss anything good

      Goodnight all

It was a bit dark when I got up, but now the sun's risen a bit it's reasonably bright despite the cloud cover. Currently 12 degrees and dry with a forecast high of 14 expected and a high chance of rain this evening. Barometer at 1016 mBar.

Second coffee has just been made.

Pain au raisin in the oven.

Should I be concerned that I only had about 20 emails after a week off and most of those were meeting cancellation notices for things I wouldn't have attended as I was away?

                  Sunny.

                  White sky.

                  Not raining.

No one banging the tulipe out of the party wall (yet).

Leaves on the apple tree turning golden brown.

Slightly warmer at 16 deg in here this morning.

Telex machine shining oh so very brightly, Roy.

And I forgot to buy eggs yesterday so I'll have to go to town & get some.
