Sadly enough, he is.
Now watching "Pacific War in Color" on Smithsonian.
Wherein the septics have just relieved the Marianas.
So now they can bomb the tulipe out of Japan.
The Achavanich Beaker Burial – The Re-Discovery of a Copper Age, Beaker burial from Caithness, Scotland. This is Ava's story.
Then the end of "Doom" which was amusing in its dark & dismal way.
I think I've had enough of this sort of thing for a while.
Now watching "The Pacific War in Color" which is July/August/September 1945 so we know what's coming next.
To whit: the Burma Ledo road to China.
And thusly the Extras on "Doom" are done with.

Tonight's first big feature here was Star Trek: Insurrection (1998). Being an odd-numbered one, I believe it's generally dismissed as Not Very Good. It's certainly not as good as First Contact, but few films are. But I thought it was quite OK really; it's basically like a long episode of TNG, and there's nowt wrong with that
Next up was a film we've probably all seen a few times as it tended to be on telly a lot, but I hadn't seen it in many years and was glad to see it again: Crocodile Dundee (1986). Great stuff, and quite timeless really if one disregards the 1980s hairstyles; maybe the scenes about trans women are pushing it a bit nowadays, but I felt they weren't denigratory and more about naive attitudes common at that time than anything else. But I'm open to being corrected if any trans women reading this think I'm wrong to accept the way they're depicted in the film
And everybody remembers "This is a knife!" but I've always thought the scene is made by the following line when he smiles at Sue and says "Just kids having fun"
And finally, S3E3 of The Sopranos, Fortunate Son (TV Episode 2001).

It's in a pile on stairs somewhere.
I have no idea if or when I'll ever get a round tuit.

It's rather good.
Watched the 2nd one when it was broadcast some time ago.
I've got the 3rd(?) one somewhere in a pile.
My hair is longer than his now.

Morning all
Raining here. Reasonably bright though. Currently 9 degrees with a forecast high expected of 11. Rain set to continue for the rest of the day. Barometer down to 980 mBar.
Yesterday I attended a zoom birthday party. Started at 7.30pm and ended at 1am. That much socialising on a day when I didn't want to be at all sociable was tiring. Today will be a duvet day.
I am finding the sound of the rain quite relaxing. It's a gentle steady noise at the moment. Just glad I don't have to go out in it. The cars going past ruins things thoughComment

Too much vin rouge was consumed, but I blame it on the boogie.
