Morning denizens

Sunny out, already 26°C and heading for 32° later

Not sure what happened with my phones alarms; last night the usual complement appeared to be enabled, but none of them have gone off this morning and they're all turned off now

But I assume I needed the sleep as I've only just woken up

Morning all the "mercury" is pushing 28C outside. I'm on conf calls.

Pre holiday faffing afoot. Bed linen in the WM. Packing. Clearing out the fridge. Asking the caretaker to water my plants.

Currently 32 degrees with forecast high of 34, clear sky and no planned precipitation. Barometer down to 1010 mBar though.

Oddly, despite it being a warm night last night, I slept much better than on previously cooler nights when I was really too hot.

Walk walked.

The road was clear all the way to the res and I took my new route home back down the hill.

Plagued by flies until I reached lower ground.

It was quite unpleasant for a while.

So hot I had to shower when I got home.

Exercise bicycling done, green ring closed, <- profusely because it's up to 31°C outside, 27° within.

About 32C out there now. Pretty much done for the day/week, just doing some paperwork.

I think I ought to wash my gardening attire once that lot's done.

Clouding over now and getting much duller.

Looks like I've killed the miniature rose that was a present from someone to Strangelove Mater.

It's lasted well, but putting it out in the rain for a couple of days while I painted the porch seems to have seen it off.

The fern got upset too but appears to be recovering a bit since I gave it a number one trim.
