Well things seem to have brightened up a bit, and no rain materialised (yet).

The wild rose in the front garden has been duly hacked to pieces.
By this time next year it'll be exactly the same size as it was before I started.
Privet hedges trimmed.
Tea: more of yesterday's rather meh beef, orange segments and custard, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.
The reason for the difficulty in finding pudding rice in Morrisons and Tesco is due to it being out of stock.

Went for a short walk to M&S and back. I wasn't especially enthused but at least it means I moved about a bit today.
Lovely, warm and sunny out. Just a light breeze.
Bin trundled as it was convenient to do so while out and about. Recycling will go out on Thursday as it's not full enough yet.Comment
