Having got bogged down in a frustrating piece of work, I realised after nine that I had made no preparations for my tea. So it was ribs and chips again, as I have cooked ribs vacuum-packed in the freezer, so it was quick to make and required little of my attention
And the recycling bin has been trundled.
Down to 24° out there now; 27.0° in here, so it's dropped a degree and a bit, and there's a cool but very slight breeze through the window

Bins trundled.
No telly watched. No books read. Nothing noteworthy at all this evening!
What has pleased me is the turning off of the uplighters at the front of the building (that I have complained about before). Last night they disturbed me because one kept turning itself off and on again. I meant to mention it to the caretaker while he was drowning the plants but got waylaid with work.
It seems either he noticed or someone else did and complained, as he was on the phone this afternoon explaining the problem. He said the right thing - this isn't urgent - and has turned them off.
So much nicer to have some dark at night!Comment
