Tea: spag bol with that fiery bol that's festered in the freezer for 3 weeks now, couple of yogurts well beyond BBE, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea, beetroot sandwich about 16:30 merely because I felt in need of something.
"Micro Revolution Revisited" has mentioned Sinclair, Jobs, and Wozniak.
It no longer mentions the robot manufacturer who got taken over the dead hand of Arnie Weinstock. .
1979: world had 9000 robots, Japan: 4500, USA:2000, West Germany:600, Italy: 400 UK: 130.
1983: world had 38,000 robots, Japan: 16500, USA:8000, West Germany:4800, Italy: 1800 UK: 1750.

The Chinese is open!
I popped my head round the door to check if they were sticking to the “online ordering only” thing they mentioned on Facebook a month or so ago, but they seemed to have completely forgotten about ever saying that, so I’ll amble down there later on and order at the counter just like in olden timesComment

I think we've had this conversation before.
Drinking wine outside the chinky isn't classy.

"Entertainment": "The Leg End of the Lone Ranger (1981)".
The Legend of the Lone Ranger (1981) - IMDb
I'd heard of this turkey but never watched it before.
It is dire.
The entirety of the LR dialogue is dubbed by James Keach.
Oh, they're going to hang Tonto now.
It's The Good, The Bad, The Ugly with a Klint instead of a Clint.
Feck me. It really is.
The Klint playing the LR had exactly one starring role & this, oddly enough, is it.
Had the failing of believing his own publicity apparently.
And of beating people up, definitely not a LR characteristic.
Oh, and Christopher "Doc Emmett Brown" Lloyd is playing the baddie.
I think he's missing the DeLorean.

Forgot to say, we watched a really nice film last night: The Lunchbox (2013) - IMDb
It's just a gentle film about a woman trying to inject a bit of romance into her life and it's all done via Tiffin boxes that are a huge thing in India.
Genuinely funny in parts.Comment
