Walk up the cem done.

Took a 4 pint container today so the gallon of water only took 2 trips to the tap & back.

The overnight rain was in evidence, seems to have washed a fair number of pine needles down the gutters.

A PCSO just went by on New Walk, but a shrubbery concealed me on his approach and then he spotted a cyclist and changed course to tell him to dismount, cycling being forbidden along there; so he missed me

Aren't you supposed to shoot cyclists? Or is that just WTFH?

Now sat on a bench in a Georgian square off New Walk by the museum and art gallery, waiting for a phone call to tell me the car’s ready - the place is just around the corner from here

And very relaxing it was. They should encourage people to go to such places just so they can relax and distance themselves from the unremitting misery of the mass media

Once the car was finally sorted out, I was able to stop off at the pharmacy on the way home and get this month’s prescriptions. This involved queuing, widely spaced, in the car park, which was at least almost empty for a change. The transaction was then performed through a window by the door that was open a crack, talking to one of the regular staff members who I recognised despite her foolish attempt to disguise herself with a mask, who then deposited the stuff through the window beneath that where it fell into a plastic box on the ground

Naturally, as soon as I got out of the car and joined the queue, it started to rain. Just a quick shower though

Just noticed that the clouds have parted a bit and there is blue sky visible!

Allegedly 17 degrees too.

I am considering a stroll to the shop.

Decided I couldn't be bothered with the shop.

Maybe tomorrow.

They do keep very well. When I find the ones I like I tend to stock up but I rarely have them last this long.

I have a jar of mincemeat in the fridge so I could make my own
