Beautifully sunny day, blue sky, fluffy clouds, apparently 12 degrees

Friend of mine is trying to make me go outside and meet her for lunch.

Bed linen wash #1 is hung out. Wash #2 is in the WM.

Have hoovered, including the sofa and armchair.

Now I need a rest. Slept very poorly last night which isn't aiding my lurgy recovery.

Rather Simpsonesque out there at the moment, though the forecast is for it to play in reverse and get cloudier as the day wears on; temperature currently 10°C, and still quite breezy

Nowt wrong with a glum day. Sometimes it's quite cathartic to wallow in self pity for a while.

Suddenly came over very dark. I had to put a light on!

No more blue sky. Clouds white but blanket cover now.

Forecast says rain until 4pm

Looks like there may be some scattered showers headed my way, but nothing worse than that

The Leg complained quite a lot once I decided to get up.

I suppose the ibuprofen gel, the pills and assorted other stuff are doing sommat, the impressive colouration seems to be subsiding a bit.

I reckon continuing to get around on it as best you can helps

Not that I have any medical training or expertise in this matter, but that’s what I did and it got better eventually, so I must be right
