Car’s booked in for its MOT tomorrow morning. I’ve (provisionally) decided to sort the battery out myself

Has rained pretty much all day I believe. Other than for that brief time when I was out first thing.Comment

Lunch: beans on Morrisons multiseed toast, 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea, bramble jelly sandwich.
Tea: chili con carne, freshly made rather than post festering, I managed to put enough chili in it this time so it's rather more inneresting than the last batch was.
Orange segments and custard, because I'm worth it.
1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
It was quite a nice sunny afternoon.
Had to tighten the screws on the hinges of the back door which has been blown wide open more than one in the recent gales due to the side passage resembling a wind tunnel.
Entertainment: I suspect it might just be "Hang 'em high" this evening.
The odd thing about "Two mules for sister sara" was the rather sub Ennio Morricone score, which turned out to be by Ennio Morricone doing a pastiche or palimpsest of a Dollar film score.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 5 March 2020, 18:28.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Have watched this:
BBC Two - Natural World, 2019-2020, Tigers: Hunting the Traffickers
Fairly depressing, about the trade in farmed tigers for Chinese medicine despite the likes of Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and China all being CITES signatories.
It's not surprising viewing and really didn't contain anything worthy of the 16+ warning for upsetting scenes. I guess people are so unused to seeing an animal butchered, as meat comes shrink wrapped from the supermarket, these days.Comment
