Tea: the last (thankfully) of Sunday's roast turkey with carrots & onions. It doesn't work so well with chicken or turkey, but WTF, it makes a change & sort of tastes of stuff, since I'm ailing also orange segments & custards, rounded off with 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Entertainment: "The Bounty (1984)" with Mad Max and Hannibal Lector.
.
It has that Larry Olivier as Lord Hood. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

For tea tonight, chicken madras (out of the freezer; judging by the date, this is with the Sainsbury’s own brand sauce, rather than the Patak’s) with the usual rice and naan. Very tasty, rather zingy

Considerably different from the 1935 version: much more balanced in the portrayal of Bligh.Originally posted by DoctorStrangelove View PostEntertainment: "The Bounty (1984)" with Mad Max and Hannibal Lector.

It has that Larry Olivier as Lord Hood.
That Liam Neeson, that Neil Morrisey, and that Bernard Hill were in it too, along with a considerable number of bare breasted lovelies.
Actually quite a lot of the bare breasted loveliness got FFed through to get on with it FFS.
Apart from Bligh being referred to as "Lootenant" by all & sundry, it was notably less Septic that the 1935 version, even Mad Max managed a reasonable English accent, though it did slip a bit now & again.
