Tea: M&S chunky battered haddock (slightly undercooked for a change), Morrisons kipper fillets (more than slightly overcooked to make up for the haddock, the fecking cat was nearly going crazy until it got the skin), 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
No ketchup or red sauce or tomato sauce was used in the preparation or consumption of the above.
Neither was any form of brown sauce, HP sauce, or Worcester sauce.
The afternoon's entertainment was the extras on the "Highlander: Endgame" dvd which weren't far off sending me to sleep, the CGI bit got turned off after about 3 minutes.
Followed by the first hour or so of "STV: The Final Frontier" which is the one with the shot of a Klingon blowing up one of the Voyagers, Spock's brother and Kirk talking to a deity IIRC.
The return of the good Colour Sergeant led me to this:
The British Martini-Henry Rifle
He died on VE Day 1945 at the age of 91.
