The evening's entertainment began with Yet More Extras on the 2nd dvd of "ST: First Contact" until I got bored with that and tried to watch the commentary on the first dvd, whereupon the player threw a wobbly so I watched "Capture Enigma: The True Story" instead.
Mildly inneresting, made in 2000 with interviews of people who were present during the two naval captures of the Enigma machines (naval 4 rotor) plus the even more important settings books.
For some obscure reason, rather than showing the Bombe used for Enigma decrypts, the Colossus rebuild was shown instead several times, until finally a Bombe made an appearance right at the end.
Apparently one of the civilian NAAFI staff from HMS Petard was involved in the retrieval of the books & machine from U559 along with the two poor sods who drowned when the damn thing sank.
