Walk walked
Very bright & shiny.
Beef roasted and rice pud pudded.
I still don't have my eye in on when the pud is done, thusly today's effort was overcooked again.
Made the gravy with a quantity of wine that's been knocking around in the cupboard for yonks (20 years probably) which made a surprisingly pleasant change.
All finished off with the 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
Found a butterfly in the hall desperately attempting to fly through the glass in the door because the sun is so bright.
It's currently in the cupboard under the stairs which is cold and dark.
It'll go out in the shed this evening.
Vac has done its thing, and once the dishes are done it's time for the Sunday afternoon shop.
Much to my irritation I can't find the box set of "Back to the Future" that is supposedly in here somewhere.
It's not where I thought it should be.

Afternoon denizens
Clear blue sky out there
Not very warm though; it’s only just got up to 5°C
The nice Lithuanian couple from the first floor back are hanging their washing out in the back yard, which seemed a bit optimistic to me until I realised that this probably counts as a warm spring day if you’re from the BalticComment

Apparently Lithuanian is a Proto-Eastern Baltic language, derived from the Proto-Balto-Slavic language, which itself derives from the Proto-Indo-European language, and is thus a major source of understanding in the reconstruction thereof, retaining as it does features only otherwise found in ancient languages such as Vedic SanskritComment

The Sun has got his hat on... [emoji274]I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment
