Turns out the twat who directed "Enemy at the Gates" is the same twat who directed my other "favourite" film "The Name of the Rose".
Tea was M&S chunky battered haddock.
It was very nice.
The orange segments and custard weren't up to previous standards since the orange was pretty manky.
All followed by the standard 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.
The evening's entertainment, post shower & dish washing (not necessarily in that order), is posited as "Trail of the Pink Panther", this being the one made of out-takes following the death of Peter Sellers.
I don't hold out much hope for it.
At 21:00 on Film4 there's a noir starring Glen Ford, Gloria Grahame and Lee Marvin (this last in Very Nasty mode IIRC*).
*Yes IIRC.
In the continued absence of Zeity, it's 10 years since ZeitMog went to meet her maker.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 18 February 2020, 13:08.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Tea is a portion of HWMBO's turkey curry that I remembered to get out of the freezer last night.
Currently looking for ways to get rid of two old monitors and a DVD player/home cinema set up with minumum fuss or interaction with great unwashed. Yes, I probably should freecycle them.Comment
