Having staggered down to the library and got soaked doing it due to the horizontal precipitation with added murrain of beasts, I was about to make some comment or other on here when the fire alarm went off.
Having logged out I couldn't be arsed to log back in again when it turned out to be a test. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

My dental visit is to have a cap finished, broke me toof on a stone or summit when I was gnoshing a baked potato. I should have just stuck it back with some super glue.bloggoth

It was Capital One that got me in the habit, about five years ago. The commute to Nottingham and back was terrible unless I aimed to get there by about eight in the morning and leave at four in the afternoon.
Before then, I was usually working away from home, so I was more likely to get in and leave later, particularly in London where I wanted to miss the worst of the rush hours on the Tube. And I’d usually have an arrangement to get in around lunchtime on Monday and leave early on Friday by working nine or ten hours a day from Tuesday to Thursday; often, my most productive time was from about half six to half eight in the evening, when the permies had all gone home and I had an open-plan office to myselfComment

"gnoshing a baked potato" - likely story. Your wife looked at your online browsing habits and lamped you one....Comment

Oh forget it.....
I was just about to leave to get there a few minutes early, when I remembered they don’t open until 2:00 of an afternoon anyway, so there’s no point rushingComment
