          Lovely and sunny here though the breeze is fierce.

          Lunch was the poached tomato and scrambled egg on Morrisons multiseed toast.

          It was very nice.

          Tea this evening will involve a serving of yesterday's chili con carne.
          When the fun stops, STOP.

              Currently I am very heavily involved in the loan charge justice thingy(see scheme enquiries forum).

              I think 7 suicides is enough.....

                Amusingly CUK may be dragged into certain libelous comments made by certain posters about certain other posters. I virtually begged admin to talk about this. And I am trying hard to convince the litigious posters that CUK is really not worth bothering about.

                <sigh>

                  It's been a lovely wee visit to Bristol. Nice drinks, nice food, easy to get about if a bit hilly in parts. Weather has been kind. Clear skies and sunshine all the way. A bit chilly today but it is October!

                  I even had CPR training that was being offered for free on College Green by ambulance crew and medical students. Got a sticker AND a certificate.

                  Driving back to Londinium in a couple of hours or so.

                  I recommend Square Works on Berkeley Square if you need a hot desk place. Very friendly people, free coffee, decent WiFi.

                    I thought of you as I tucked into a very tasty guinea fowl for dinner last night.

                      I spent eight months contracting in Bristol, working on radio station websites (“Bristol’s GWR 96.3 FM” along with about thirty-five other local stations they operated). Seemed like a pleasant enough place but yes, there’s some serious hills in parts - particularly heading up towards Clifton, as I recall.
