By the grace of whatever deity, it was dry going down to town & dry coming back.
Seems unseasonably warm.
The sun has had his hat on, however briefly.
Luncheon today began with the merest smidgeon of pork pie (Morrisons, reduced), followed by scrambled egg and poached tomato on pumpkin seed toast (Morrisons, bought on The Wrong Day so probably going to go blue shortly).
It was nice enough though the tomato was tasteless, being of that overlarge watery type that never tastes of much in the first place.
Concluded with 1.05 pints of Good Glengettie Tea.
In other news I found yet another set of 4 dvds with that Whoopi Goldberg in assorted starring roles.
In other other news it looks like the ordure is about to hit the aircon in Parliament.

In other other other news, the monsoon has returned, with wind to make sure it's horizontal.
There's been hammering and such from the first floor back's bathroom, and now there's a bath lying on its side in the back yard. I assume this is something to do with the slow leak that has been making the area by the back door (immediately beneath) smell funny for several months now
I know the landlord tried to fix it ages ago, but it didn't work. Maybe he gave up and got a professional in.
Perhaps I should find something to complain about in my flat, as he seems to be getting things repaired at the moment?
