After last evening's deluge, there's sun & a CBS.

Getting chillier, 19.4 in here this morning.

I was expecting nightmares after watching 1408, but I seem to have slept quite well.

Very very wet cycle today. I was trying out my new jacket. Windproof and waterproof. £50 from Sports Direct (down from £150).

I resented paying that much for a jacket. But now looks like a good investment....

Morning denizens

The rain overnight came to a stop about an hour ago, and it's turned sunny in the last fifteen minutes or so

I had a poor night's sleep as my right ear has developed a painful swelling in the canal. Normally it's the left ear that grumbles about the hearing aids and gets a bit sore, but the right has apparently been saving up its grievances and suddenly lashed out in anger. So every time I turned on to my right side as I slept, I got woken up by it; and it seems I do that quite a lot
