Another telly-free night apart from more of the war/speed programme on iPlayer whilst eating. Instead, I got a fair way into Nevil Shute's 1940 novel Landfall.

Morning
The sky's as grey as a 's arse at the moment.
Definitely getting cooler in the mornings now.
Winter draws on.
Those lucky lucky people at Ye Newe Olde Sloughe of Desponde have to endure a day of being talked at and lied to by a fine selection of psycho and socio paths.
Not having to attend that tulipe is about the only good thing about being retired.
And to add to the endless joy, following the reorganisation there's yet another feckwhit giving his lying spiel on Wednesday or Thursday.
Goodbye "Schools" and welcome "Institutes".Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 3 September 2019, 08:05.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

It’s to do with a 4 letter word beginning with W.

Morning denizens
Some high, wispy bits of cloud about, but sunny for the most part
Going to cloud over about lunchtime and rain tonight; or so it is foretoldComment

Thankfully the Sniffer has shut the feck up.
And who'd have thunk that living on a diet of crisps and chips would make you go blind?
