Another minor result in WTFH v the big boys...
I was paying £38 a month for phone/broadband with BT including anytime calls to UK landlines.
NowTV were offering £29 including anytime calls to UK landlines & mobile.
I signed up with NowTV, switch due to take place in 2 weeks.
This morning BT phones up. I'm now paying £27 with BT, including anytime calls to UK landlines & mobile.
PPI claims filled out for The Wife (tm)
Next is the car insurance - the current lot want to increase it from £770 to £880. Best quote I have so far is £670.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Biceps aching this morning, can't quite get my arms straight without a painful twinge. Luckily yesterday's shenanigans are unlikely to be repeated any time soon so there's no risk of me developing any meaningful muscle.
Now to find somewhere to put said stand mixer. No idea at present.
Still not keen on doing any actual work. Am tinkering around the edges looking busy. Next week will be very busy so it all works out.Last edited by ladymuck; 29 August 2019, 11:33. Reason: missing words out of sentences does not aid understanding...Comment
