Emergency snack of strawberries out of the freezer (allowed to thaw so they were soft but still chilled) and Green & Black's vanilla ice cream. Very nice, and cooling too

That reminds me of this dessert, apparently the original and best is available off-menu at the Ivy (the proper one, not the spin off Ivy Brasseries which are spreading voraciously like some disease)

Discovered that I bought my copy of "Space Cowboys (2000)" slightly later than "HPD" on 24/10/2008 for the stunningly outrageous price of £5 from HMV.

Currently watching "The Good Nazi" on Yesterday since I was getting withdrawal symptoms.

Was listening to an inneresting documentary on R4 at 13:45 re the price of houses vs income in the 1960s.

Sounds like it wasn't as easy as all that at the time.

Not that the Millennials will believe any of it of course.

Saw that in The Castle Cinema in Swansea.

There was some sort of cinema appreciation thing after it, which I didn't stay for.

Came out, got in the car, and got boxed in by the plod for no readily apparent reason.

It all turned out ok & they wandered off, probably to get a cup of tea.

And that's a mere 33 or 34 years ago.
