I always feel vaguely guilty about destroying their webs ever since I found out that they invest so much of their energy resources in them that, should they find pickings are slim and decide to move elsewhere, they eat the web to get those resources back. I was quite pleased to see the spider who lived behind the curtain in the office decided to return to its previous haunts once I'd finished vacuuming the detritus off the curtain and the window sill.

It had been very busy, looks like a good site for hunting.
