    Morning.

    Dry.

    Grey.

Wanly sunny <= only if I use my imagination***.

Coolish side of not very warm.

Just to celebrate it being Sunday, a day when I'd never have to get out of bed at 06:00, I awoke at 06:10* and read a few more pages of "Empire of Secrets" which successfully sent me back to sleep until 08:05.

*As it transpired there was something understood on the wireless and a reading of some poem or other upset me so I woke up properly, switched it off and did a little light reading about Nkrumah and the Gold Coast as we used to call it.

As for the filmic enterprizes mentioned above^^^, I enjoyed "London has Fallen" a lot, but "The Prestige" has been picked up, looked at, and put back on the shelf several times.

Well there's the Sunday lunch prep done.

    Lots of cruciferous wegetables.

    And lamb.

No lamb's heart this week though.

I forgot to get one out of the freezer or I couldn't be arsed**.

    ***Wanly has turned into vaguely.

The roast lamb was Very Nice, as was the spag bol I had for tea/dinner yesterday, plainly the festering at the back of the fridge hadn't done the minced beef any harm at all.

Once I've done the dishes it'll be time for the weekly trek to Tesco, Lidl and Morrisons.

One's next book is "The Black Death" by Philip Ziegler.

Compared with some of my recent tomes it's an easy read.

Dishes washed, so it's time to do the shopping.

After which I think I'll mow the my lawns.

Good idea, the sun came out long enough for me to do the back lawn.

Which now means the garden waste wheelie bin is now full and as it's being emptied this week it means I may be able to start on the hedge.

Or I may read a book and have a beer.

                  Thanks it'll be the later.

Or the latter later as the case may be.

The cruciferous wegetables seem to be making their presence felt.

Yeah that last sentence was a train wreck.

                      Still the beer tastes good.
