This evening's televisual epic is, initially, an hour of "Mile 22 (2018)" with Mark Wahlberg, John Malkovich, et al.
Mile 22 (2018) - IMDb
It is undergoing a brief hiatus whilst the Oak Island nutjobs do their thing until 22:00.
The nutjobs appear to be finding stuff.
This is most unusual.
The continuation of Mile 22 was suitably mindlessly violent.
Amusing enough, and, at 90 mins, short.
TFBSZ.
Back to Ye Sloughe of Desponde tomorrow. .
Only 23 days.
Only 23 days.
Only 23 days.
That's not working too well at the moment.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 28 April 2019, 21:55.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

The roast chicken dinner was, as expected, exceedingly nice
And just for the sake of something different, I've experimented with making my own apple turnovers. They're looking a bit of a mess, TBH, as I have no experience in that department whatsoever; but I'm going to try one or two with ice cream for dessert, as they probably taste fineComment

Well, they may be leaky and malformed, but the apple turnovers are also absolutely delicious, especially with a bit of Green & Black's vanilla ice creamComment

Back to languages I don't understand (much) tonight, with the final two episodes of Borgen: Fornuft og følelse and Valget. Good stuff, but I think they were wise to wrap it up there

The lack of advert breaks usually caused pain.
Morning.
Grey.
Dark.
Dank.
Dreary.
Drizzly going on raining.
Sunless.
Polleny. How can it be polleny and rainy?
22 more 6 a.m. wakes before freedom.
22 more nights of looking at the clock every hour or so after 2 a.m.
But there's a Bank Holiday next Monday.
So that's one less. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
