Dentist has cancelled on me for the third time so now I'm on the hunt for a good root canal fixer upperer. My NHS dentist referred me to private as I guess they didn't want to do it themselves. Thing is, the dentist they referred me to only works one day a week! If I had insisted on NHS treatment, it would have been done by now and I wouldn't have wasted six weeks waiting for nothing to happen. Grrr.

It's raining!
Finally the drought of the last few weeks is coming to an end. A few hours of gentle drizzle and the garden will burst into life, the plants will be happy, the weeds will go mental and the dust will settle.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

At least the countdown posts seem to have survived this thread. Unlike the weekend thread.
Any one know the story behind that?Comment

No current precipitation but it's penciled in for later.
I understood "later" to mean this afternoon rather than 10:45.

Nope, do I need to check anything?
Are you sure it's not because you are looking at the wrong weekend thread?

BTW, MS, yesterday's numbers - I'd done it in a couple of seconds:
50-3 = 47
x10 = 470
+6 = 476
...although your way of getting 466 was very good too... if that had been the number.
(I know, pressure of being a TV star)…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
