Managed to find my late (very very very late) brother's birth certificate.
Anything more useful, sadly not.
Not sure I want to listen to The Archers any more.
It's in one of those cyclic things where it's so tedious and unpleasant as to be not worth the time.
I miss Walter Gabriel.
And his traction engine.
Nelson Gabriel was a bit of a card too.
I must admit Freddy is getting on my tit a bit.
And that creepy ex-teacher chap.
Not to mention the equally irritating new Welsh bride that Tom has married.
Marry in haste repent at leisure as our Neil said.
All in all it sounds like a good time to stop listening for a while.
I couldn't stand that chap that got stabbed too, the control freak.
Tea/dinner this evening was M&S battered haddock.
I cooked it almost to death but it was more or less edible.
Just put a 2nd coat of paint on the patch of floor in the Salting House.
It seems to get a lot of wear there.
The black cat seems very disappointed not to have more turkey skin to eat this evening.

I'm showering with baby bath stuff in an attempt to stop myself itching all over.
It seems to work but despite being hypoallergenic it pongs of some perfume or other which I find a bit disconcerting.
People might get The Wrong Idea about me.
This evening's epic is "P.S. I love you" being a rom com with Hilary Swank & Gerard Butler.
I selected it in the hope of watching a film where Hilary Swank is still alive at the end of it unlike the other two films in my extensive library.
Unusually Gerard Butler is not offing bad guys left right & centre which is also a bit of a change from the other epics in my extensive library.
Mostly coz he's already dead.
And she's carrying his ashes around in an urn.
Which is equally odd really.
P.S. I Love You (2007) - IMDb
It's got a non vampire version of Spike in it too.
How odd.
Ms Swank was in the 1992 film of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and there's a reference to such in this film.
I quite enjoyed that in a funny sort of way.
Don't normally do romcom chickflics but this was a bit different.
And quite funny in parts.
I think I'm ready for "Million $ Baby" now.
