The jackdaws seem to have had a wonderful time with the pears on my tree.

I've never seen it as loaded as it's been this year.

I hope they're enjoying them.

Certainly there seems very little pear left by the time they've finished.

I meant to slice and freeze the rest of Sunday's roast pork for future lunches, but I forgot. So tonight's repast was another roast pork dinner, with all the trimmings; and exceedingly nice it was

This evening's entertainment was Suburban Mayhem (2006), in which a spoilt young Australian woman is totally out of control, and then gets worse. It was pretty entertaining for the most part, though it petered out a bit towards the end when the business of bringing the story to its conclusion took over.
