The middle of a traffic island seems to be a particularly poor choice of location to beg.

There are traffic lights there. In the hot weather most people's windows are down so when they stop they are ideal targets. It was good when the rozzers pulled up at the lights and moved one of them on out of his car window.

Clouded over, so I've decided to put the sprinklers on the lower lawn.

If it rains, then the ground is soften up to receive the moisture.
If it doesn't rain, then the ground is watered.

It's doing a fine job here.

It's not helped that I'm using the horrid CCS compiler which is like a cornered rat.

And lo! verily if you point the programmer ap at the right fecking hex file & duly program the fecking pic with the right fecking code, it works.

None of the tulipe I've spent all day farting about with does anything.

Not impressed.

It has to go through the proteus simulator, presumably to set the fuses correctly.

I shall not repeat this exercise in futility ever again.

In other news, I'm going to get wet on the way home.
