*this, not thus. Either autocorrect is getting worse or I am
Tonight's all action fandango was Crimson Tide (1995), in which Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman engage in learned disputation over whether or not to fire their submarine's nuclear missiles. Good stuff, if rather along the lines of most films set in modern submarines, as opposed to ones in black and white submarines which tended mainly to focus on Richard Attenborough losing his nerve.

Sant Llorenç de la Muga. 7 days Trail Riding with 9 others. DirtwiseUK. I'm sure I'm too old for this malarkey?I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. The one instance that springs to mind is "In which we serve" as the cowardly stoker, alongside Noel Coward (rather before the Italian Job made his career).
I'm not a Gene Hackman fan, but the film is rather good.
Mostly because of Washington.

And the dehumidifier is filling up every 12 hours in here at the moment.
In an unexpected change, the new owners of next door are turning up this afternoon to collect their accumulated mail.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 2 June 2018, 10:40.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment
