I'm working on a thing to resolve links to URL shorteners, including the case of a shortened URL pointing to another shortened URL. Just grabbed, pretty much at random, a link from Twitter (which uses its own t.co shortened URLs) which resolved to the BBC's URL shortener (bbc.in), assuming that the latter would finally point to bbc.co.uk. Nope; there's another redirect hidden in there before you finally get to the page you actually wanted (trib.al, which is used by a lot of media companies, presumably for tracking clicks)Comment

You haven't been doing any explosive cooking this evening, per chance?I was an IPSE Consultative Council Member, until the BoD abolished it. I am not an IPSE Member, since they have no longer have any relevance to me, as an IT Contractor. Read my lips...I recommend QDOS for ALL your Insurance requirements (Contact me for a referral code).Comment

I didn't hear it.
There used to be a really good butcher's shop just by there in the 1980s. I lived on the opposite side of the city at the time but would sometimes go all the way there specially.Comment

Pasta Bake + Turkey steaks. + obligatory red wine!
All good.
The en Suite is finally nearing completion, I tried the rainforest shower setting tonight and its awesome. Very relaxing.
Its a bit sad having a readout that tells you how hot your shower is & how long it lasts, but I suppose that is progress!
And so to bed!Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

The local paper has a reporter at the scene of the explosion providing updates. I know him well, and can guarantee he's desperately hoping he gets stood down soon so he doesn't miss last orders - he lives locally, and the pub's only a few minutes walk from the sceneComment
