The main attraction of tonight's tea has been a ribeye steak. Sainsbury's did me proud there - the one they sent was a good inch thick, with excellent marbling, and turned out absolutely delicious
Tonight's home cinema experience was The Godfather (1972), which is basically The Sopranos without the humour or the psychoanalysis. It's the first time I've watched it since, probably, the first time it was shown on TV, which was *checks the BBC Genome site* Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend 1978, when it was shown over two evenings, because it's longer than the entire run of The Sopranos: The Godfather part one, The Godfather part two.
And a couple more episodes of The Americans; only a few more of season three left now.
