            more beer consumed than usual.

            dinner is , therefore steak pie <pukka> and oven chips

            with HP sauce and a nice Merlot

                      Lots of pizza places, but I don't eat cheese so I don't eat pizza; a few moderately OK kebab places, but I go to a superlatively good place across the city if I want a kebab, and I can't be bothered to drive over there; and there's plenty of curry places including a few extremely good ones, but I'm not really in the mood for a curry. At least if I just go to the Chinese as usual, I don't have to think much
