3.5 hours to go and I've survived my first week back at Client Co. after 2 week holiday.
I can almost see the bottom of my mailbox.
Much of it comprised sprawling email chains cc'd to half the business that could have been taken care of in 5 minutes had I actually been here, but since I wasn't they all became desperately urgent and got escalated left right and center until someone suggested that the world was not, in fact, about to end and the best course of action was simply waiting until I got back.
