You OK? Good weekend?
Yesterday was one of those odd days. Took both the boys to spaceport at Seacombe Ferry. I had not been to the Ferry since 1979. It had not changed. The boys loved the spaceport.
Then onto Mersey Ferry to Pier head. Nice lunch, back on Merseyrail and taxi. The boys had a brilliant day.
As soon as I get home all 3 kids kept hassling me. Mrs BP cornered me and I exploded. I was fine after a 2 hour drive.
I am hoping its not the start of my SAD. As since the start of the year I have been getting better and better.Comment

On Tuesday it is parents evening for the twins. I have been given a long list of what I can and cannot say. And even been told wht clothes to wear.
After yersterday at a minimum I will refer to the twins as "fruit of my loins". If I am still in a bad mood I will moon at the headmaster.....Comment

Used to go over the water (as those of us from God's Own City call the Wirral) on the ferry from time to time in the 1960s when I was a little kidOriginally posted by BrilloPad View PostJust remember you get no week off from Monday links.

When you're a kid you take a lot of things for granted, though I still gathered from grownups that Liverpool was seen as a cool place in the eyes of the world. But it's only when you're older that you properly realise that it was pretty unusual that the songs on the radio were about places that you passed on the bus into town (Penny Lane), or walked past on the way to the park (Strawberry Fields), or travelled on when your mum took you to visit your cousins in Birkenhead (Ferry Cross The Mersey)Originally posted by NickFitz View PostUsed to go over the water (as those of us from God's Own City call the Wirral) on the ferry from time to time in the 1960s when I was a little kid

Sunday lunch was some very nice roast lamb with the trimmings at a country pub, so not that hungry this evening. I've had a couple of cooked chicken thighs out of the freezer, and very nice they were
Last ones, though, so I need to roast some more of them.Comment
